Linda Mravunac Fabijanić

Pianist and harpsichordist Linda Mravunac Fabijanić has been present on the music scene for more than twenty years, and critics describe her as a gifted and imaginative artist. Her repertoire spans from the Baroque period to contemporary works by international and Croatian composers, and her biography includes premieres of works by contemporary Croatian composers.
As a soloist, she has performed with the Zagreb Soloists, the Papandopulo Quartet, the Croatian Baroque Ensemble, and the Varaždin Chamber Orchestra. She has also collaborated with the Croatian Radiotelevision Symphony Orchestra, the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, the Croatian Chamber Orchestra, and the Zagreb Chamber Orchestra.
Depending on the instrument she plays, the period she performs, or the instruments she collaborates with, she consistently adapts to the sonic, musical, and stylistic requirements, actively participating with refined taste in the creation and presentation of musical works, guided by one principle alone – musical taste. She regularly performs in a duo with Nikola Fabijanić, with whom she has recorded two albums: Portreti (A Classic, 2006) and Playtime (Croatia Records, 2013).
In the ensemble Ars Longa, founded as a result of professional musicians’ desire to unite their love for chamber music with their passion for the Baroque, she and her colleagues explore the vast richness of Baroque repertoire, performing on authentic instruments.
She gives lectures and seminars on Baroque music interpretation and serves as an official artistic collaborator at the Papandopulo and Woodwind & Brass competitions in Varaždin, as well as at the Summer Music Camp Maruševec and the Saxophone School in Jastrebarsko. She collaborates with leading Croatian orchestras and records albums. She is the Artistic Director of the Jaska Art Festival. After many years devoted to pedagogical work, she is currently employed at the Academy of Music, University of Zagreb as an artistic advisor.
